Gusto kita. Mabait ka kasi. — I like you. You are kind; that’s why.
Kasi isinara mo, kaya ka napagalitan. — You were berated. You shut it; that’s why.
Maganda ka kasi kaya ka pinuri. — You are beautiful so you are appreciated; that’s why.
Unlike the Filipino counterpart kasi of the English that’s why which may be found anywhere in the sentence, that’s why is always placed at the last part of the sentence context.
