Say it right in English

This platform is a blogging discussion catered to those who desire to learn how to translate Filipino to English where there are no materials or literature available in the market and in schools treating some problem areas in translation except as this site and its team offers. It is the blogging complement to the book “How do you say it in English?” already in the market being published by National Book Store authored by Remigio S. Espares III, herein blogger and teammate. The book along with this blogging platform are mediums for discussion of Filipino to English translations with instructions to guide practical day-to-day conversation and writing — just when one has the idea right in his head, but can’t quite express the idea in straight English.

Say it right logically

It is a blogging platform catered to those who encounter argumentative or confrontational issues (legal or non-legal) where they may find themselves confused as to how to interpret issues and how to outline their argument. The readers may interact here or get the idea from the herein bloggers on the style and method of outlining an argument or reasoning. Our concentration or specialty is tackling the problem area of the given issue unless the issue is a very difficult legal question where only courts can determine.

Welcome to say-it-right.com

WE ARE A NEWLY CREATED ADVOCACY SITE (JANUARY, 2018)

Our goal is solution, not end to the problem; suggestion but not imposition; best option but not verdict; precision but not perfectionism; and prompting but not banging.

Who We Are

Our team includes a writer/book author/freelance journalist; a trainer on leadership values and productive work values and attitude; a lawyer who is at the same time a programmer; a lawyer who is an author of legal books; and an editor. We are advocates of logical thinking.

Our Vision

The academic and the paralegal fields are getting saturated with concerns and clienteles as population rises up. As those service providers in these fields go about their functions, they tune up to the rigorous demands of affairs in this modern-day living that are relevant to their functions. The challenge facing them is how to meet the ever-increasing service demands because brain-drain has always been a constant, persistent and universal problem in all professional servicing endeavours such as the academic and the paralegal services. Thus, nongovernment advocacies (advocacy groups/entities) are an open welcome to the evolving culture of voluntary servicing partnership among the knowledge service providers in order to stuff up the necessity in this knowledge-needy world. Our group then sees itself as a volunteering partner or a modest contributor to provide a backup to the society’s brain drain problem where knowledge providers certainly will be in demand all the more along the course of time. We are therefore an advocacy.

Our Mission

In fact and in truth, all human affairs are governed by logic. Indeed, people ought to be governed by logic from as noble a feat as running a government and running a spacecraft to as modest a task as erecting or repairing a fence in the boundary of your backyard with that of your neighbor and tagging the price for the vegetable you are selling. Yet as far as we usually observe, conflicts and problems come up because some people tend to disregard logic as the medium in their dealings and actions. Now, we need to be reminded that applying logic is a perfect way in many cases to resolve conflicts or problem areas. So, therefore, we are an advocacy whose objective is to ring the bell upon those who seem to be losing sight of this fact and truth. Our desire is that we would find ourselves motivating others to be logical or rational in all their dealings and actions so that the rest may copy and be influenced. Furthermore, we are confident that using logic to go with creativity and resourcefulness is the best method to ease and resolve burden and difficulty in certain tasks. We want to show how it is possible.

Performance

One of our partners, a writer, has made his first work (a book) find its way into nationwide circulation thru its publisher, the National Book Store, the leading retail store of books in the Philippines. The book has helped thousands of readers in the Philippines find ease in their translating difficulty. Another partner of ours, a leadership trainer, has made some talking engagement on leadership training before some companies in Bicol. Still another partner of ours, a lawyer, has created and launched a computer application/program that helps legal practitioners to get at ease in their legal researching tasks. Still another partner, has published legal books that cater to non-lawyers or lay readers to help them come about legal problems without consulting lawyers or without being skilled in law.
